Security Personnel
Over the last few years, our industry has undergone major changes, none more so than the introduction of the PRIVATE SECURITY INDUSTRY ACT 2001. Safeguard Security Group Limited holds SIA approved contractor status for the provision of security guarding.
This has given an industry, previously unregulated, the opportunity to clean house, ensuring only competent and compliant companies, operating within the Act are merited with Approved Contractor Status (ACS Approval).
As well as being fully accredited by the SIA as an ACS company we are audited to BS: 7499 and BS: 7858, the key codes of practice for the Manned Security Guarding Industry, as minimum standards.
As a further demonstration of the Security Personnel division's commitment to the philosophy of quality, it is accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2000. This is audited by the BSI, globally recognised as the leader in quality systems management verification.
