As we know, all too often, alarms activate at the most awkward of times. This could be anything from the middle of the night, through to the middle of Christmas dinner. In any event, there is a need to rush down to the premises to ensure your property is safe and secure, whilst at the same time oblivious to the potential dangers awaiting you on arrival, not ignoring the fact the company has a duty of care to the person responding to the alarm activation, to ensure their safety at all times.

One must also not forget the proportion of false activations which require responding to, and the risk of being blacklisted from any Police response, due to exceeding the number of false alarms in any twelve month period. Current Home Office statistics state, in excess of 80% of alarm activations are false rather than as a result of actual intruders.

We are also aware of the impact on the person attending sites, and their ability to be as effective the following day following a disturbed nights sleep, which can be counterproductive.

Our Keyholding/alarm response removes this headache. We deploy fully trained security staff to site, who will check the building to identify whether its integrity has been compromised. In the event of a false activation they will reset your alarm system, secure the building without the need to disturb you, and only reporting through to you the following day. In the event there has been an incident, our security officers will liaise with the Police, remaining on site until such time as the building is secure again.
